I’ve been keenly interested in all things photographic since my father taught me 8mm & 16mm cinematography when I was about 7 years old. I learned the sunny 16 rule and have had great success using it over the past 55 years. I wanted to be a motion picture editor but couldn’t afford film school so I went into television engineering and giant screen projection engineering for concerts and events along the US east coast, and eventually working all over the world. I’m spending my retirement making 16mm films, shooting stills and helping young people learn about film, and loving it! I own hundreds of analog film cameras of every brand and format. My main hobby for several decades has been repairing and re-furbishing all types of analog photographic equipment.
