Interested in creating online video tutorials using open source software. Apart from creating content, I try to performance tune the encoding of videos to get decent audio and visual quality, while keeping reasonably low file sizes and target file formats for web-based playback. I typically deal with screen-based content, as opposed to live action film.

Tools I typically use include Simple Screen Recorder, Blender (VSE component for video editing), ffmpeg and a bit of scripting with Bash and PHP. Most of the time I work in a Linux desktop environment.
