I usually reconvert my videos recorded on Android, because most of the time they can be well compressed. I mean, sometimes 150Mb becames 50Mb or even better, sometimes just a few megabytes gets saved. But sometimes the new video is bigger, and I dont know why. Of course, these videos are very animatic, a lot of moving object there, but still... this is how I use:

ffmpeg -i "source.mp4" -vcodec libx265 -crf 23 -acodec aac -max_muxing_queue_size 40000 "dest.mp4"'

it seems to me the "best" but then I cant imagine how it can results in bigger file...
