I am recording IP camera footage to mp4 files. The cameras also produce events when motion is detected by them. My server receives these events.
I would like to insert metadata markers in the finished mp4 recording that indicates at which time positions within the video have such events occured.
Is there a specialized way of tagging this information or should I aim for some sort of generic register?
Can you recommend a cli tool that can insert this information?
