I'm trying to record a website to video at 1080p. Here are my steps

  1. I started a Xvfb screen at 1920x1080 and run chrome in it.
  2. I went to an Youtube video.
  3. Start ffmpeg to record this screen

I recorded screencast here

At the beginning, it works fine (low memory and cpu usage), but for only few minutes. Then the system become overload (both cpu and ram). I think the problem is the ffmpeg command. I need someone who can fix it.
