I am 15 and i am not allowed to get software with Installer so i decided to get Audacity as my DAW , I have a Yamaha353 keyboard , now this Keyboard can produce a considerable amount of music , i wanted to ask , is this combination enough to produce SOME kind of music , I Own a YouTube Channel(which i don't want to link or mediators will think im promoting it),and its very small and i want to make music as a background. Now the actual question is How can i record my keyboard sound , Only internal sound for this purpose.

  • As far as I'm aware, the only way to record without an audio interface would be to plug the output of your keyboard directly into a microphone port on your computer (you might need an adapter) and hope for the best. I don't think a Yamaha e353 has midi output (not that Audacity supports it anyway) so even with an interface, directly plugging in might be the best you could do. – TheTrueJard Dec 14 '20 at 3:46
