Intro

I am not sure if this is the right stack exchange sub forum to ask, but anyway...

I was watching a video and I noticed the colour difference when playing it with two different players (parole and MPlayer) -- please see the image (MPlayer is on the right) and I'm quite sure that this is the same frame.

Parole (left) vs MPlayer (right)

Question(s)

  1. Why the colours are different when played on two different players (ffplay results in the same colours as MPlayer)?
  2. Is is possible to have the same colours as for parole when using MPlayer?

Config

MPlayer version: MPlayer 1.3.0 (Debian), built with gcc-7 (C) 2000-2016 MPlayer Team

Parole version: Parole Media Player 1.0.1
