how come my editor(vsdc editor) only has audio but not any video footage

My audio is great, but when I export the video it doesn't show-only a black screen.

Any suggestions?

Best basic setting for videos is .mpg, .mpeg, .mp4, try to save for .mpg with video & audio output. You maybe forgot to output your video. Or video rendering failed, you need to save it again.
