I tend to take quite allota lot of video screencasts to illustrate bugs and features to 3rd parties during web development projects.
ForTo achieve this is I use quicktimeQuicktime on my macMac and then go to file"File > newNew screen recordingrecording", record the video and press stop"Stop". Then it asks me to save the video which iI do, but it always comes out as a very large file, for instance a 30 second video depending on how much iI scroll on the screen can be 50mb (not the best for sharing).
At the moment to get around this before iI share the videos on email or in Trello (project management tool) iI setup a queue in Handbrake and run all the videos through there in the 'normal setting' this. This reduces them to about 7mb each with as near aswhich makes no difference no noticable difference.
The only issue is that as a workflow this is a bit of a pain, is. Is there a way iI can save lower size videos direct from quicktime Quicktime? IveI've researched saving at 720p which dosedoes very little for the file size and 480p which gives me an iphone sized video which is too small to use.
