The Video Production Stack Exchange is for videographers, producers, editors, and enthusiasts spanning the fields of video and media creation.
If you have a question about
- broadcast, film or location recording techniques
- shooting, editing, color grading, and distribution
- post-production techniques
- asset management, media, and file formats
- installation, configuration, and operation of hardware or software related to these topics
… then you’re in the right place to ask your question!
Sound questions are also on topic if they relate directly to Video Production, however general sound production and design questions unrelated to video should be asked on Sound Design.
Note that questions about home theater systems are not production related and thus not on topic, however shooting and editing of home movies are.
For more help, see "What types of questions should I avoid asking?"
Please look around to see if your question has been asked before. It’s also OK to ask and answer your own question.
If your question is not specifically on-topic for Video Production Stack Exchange, it may be on topic for another Stack Exchange site. If no site currently exists that will accept your question, you may commit to or propose a new site at Area 51, the place where new Stack Exchange communities are democratically created.
