@AJHenderson Licence, but its very nature, only enters into play when copyright does. And copyright doesn't matter in regard to something that is not being copied. It's like you don't have a right to copy the book, but you can sell it to anybody you want without ever having to ask for licence from the author. No new copies, no copyright, no need for a licence.

comment How to see if a video file is progressive or interlaced?
You'll not be able to find it with Windows explorer alone. From my Windows days i remember a tool called GSpot, if it's still around look for it, i'm sure it'll tell you what you need to know about the file.

comment What is a non-encoding lossless h.264 AVC editor? (other than avidemux which is buggy)
If you specify the bugs you've experienced, it would help. Otherwise your post read a bit like a rant against avidemux.

comment How can I convert .MTS file (AVCHD) to .mp4 by ffmpeg without re-encoding H264 video stream?
@kaorukobo Hello. I have updated my answer, but it doesn't look promicing. I hope that some of the thoughts i have provided will help you to resolve the problem. You may try shooting with the same camera settings except for resolution. But unfortunately most cameras these days come with several presets, and it's not possible to just change the resolution like this.

@kaorukobo What exactly do you mean by "with having its frame backward quiveringly repeatedly"? Does the output shake or does it in some way jump forward and back?

@ProfessorSparkles I think that the fact that it worked here is sufficient ground to believe otherwise. I will wait to see what kaorukobo says.
