comment Warp stabilizer in Premiere Pro cuts off most of the image
Then you might want to try changing the playback engine as AJ Henderson suggested. Could be an error from the GPU engine.

comment What tools do you use for command line editing?
Well no one uses ffmpeg for NLE work. You use it for encoding and automating things. For transcoding its actually very easy to use. The main reason why its popular though is that its pretty much the only widely known tool for these tasks. MELT isn't even close to that reputation. Not that this would make MELT bad, its just not that well known yet.

Correct. It wont remove any of your keyframes but take them and loop them forever. All you need to do is increase the length of the layer as needed and it will loop the animation as long as you layer is long.

Sure but that is a very sluggish workflow compared to a modern NLE like Premiere where you can see changes even while playing back your footage.

No no you don't add time remap to anything. You just add it to every layer that has keyframes and they layer will loop these keyframes forever with that expression. You use it instead of time remap and use it on the layers in your comp instead of the comp itself.

I edited my answer, I tried that method on your project and the face wobbles along just fine after the 2 second mark.

I looked into you comp. Am I correct assuming that you only time remap in order to loop your animation?

Then just time remap the comp2 in the same manner?

So, to understand you correctly. You have 2 comps in a main comp and comp 1 has animated assets inside itself and you then went ahead and time remapped comp 1 inside the main comp and now need to sync the motion of comp 1 to comp 2? (not an asset inside comp 2?) It might be helpful if you could upload a simple AE file that shows the issue.

comment Why don't phones correct vertical filming?
The issue is that you can turn your phone. It's a bit hard to turn a monitor or TV.

Btw. if you want to analyze video files in the future I recommend using the tool "MediaInfo" it gives you a lot more usefull and human readable information.

Apple software has always been very picky about h264 files. There are a ton of parameters that can cause this. I mean why don't you just re-export your project as an intermediate and encode to h264 with handbrake? Even if it takes some time, its not worth the hassle to debug your broken file.
